The Oscar® Race is ON!!! – Animated Feature Films Submitted

On your mark, get set, GO! The race for best animated feature is on and nineteen animated films have been submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 86th Academy Awards® today. 

Every one of these films had an incredible team of artists who worked together to help bring the characters to life, so we want to congratulate them on this accomplishment and thank them for their hard work. And now the 19 submitted features, listed in alphabetical order, are (drum-roll, please!):

So, hold on to your seats and wait to see who makes it when the nominations are announced live on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Tough competition, since only 5 will be able to make it to the next step.

“What’s next?” you may ask. More waiting, the final winner will be announced March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® at the Academy Awards.
