Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City
The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City is a non-profit started to provide support and help to people with down syndrome (and their families.) The Down Syndrome Guild, started in 1984, serves 37 counties in Kansas and Missouri.

Grassroot Soccer
Founded by “Survivor: Africa” winner Ethan Zohn, Grassroot Soccer uses the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize communities to stop the spread of HIV.

Impact Foundation
Impact foundation gives youth opportunities to develop their talents, while helping them develop character and integrity, and giving them advice on how showbiz works. Their Artist Development Program provides these young artists professional training, completely free of charge.

Juvenile Arthritis Association
The Juvenile Arthritis Association was formed to address the widespread lack of awareness, funding and resources directed towards children and young adults diagnosed with pediatric rheumatic diseases. Pediatric rheumatic diseases, often broadly categorized as juvenile arthritis, are a family of autoimmune diseases characterized by severe inflammation and pain that can occur in any part of the body. These diseases can be extremely debilitating and in some cases fatal.

Just Like You Films
Just Like You films is a non-profit film production company started to show that unique children (like those with Down Syndrome, or burn survivors) are just like you! By promoting social acceptance for these children, Just Like You films strives to create a nurturing and healthy environment for children big or small.

Kids Resource was founded by 10 year old Gery Orz, and was created to raise awareness and shed some light on social issues that kids deal with today, as well as act as a support system for children around the country.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was founded to cure leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and Hodgkin’s disease, as well has improve the living conditions of patients and people afflicted. The LLS is also the world’s largest voluntary health agency, with many ways to volunteer and help out, including options for teens!

Lollipop Theater Network
The Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization created to help bring the joy of films currently playing on the big screen to children restricted to a hospital bed because of illness.
