We tried the original flavor to make some picadillo, and you can see how it sizzles in the pan in the pic above, and the resullt when mixed with rice. All-in-all, it tasted pretty good! Plenty of umami, with a texture close to ground turkey but with occasional firmer parts–as if someone threw some chopped garlic into the mix. The flavor has hints of macadamia-type notes, but not overpowering. We’d love too try CHi iin some tacos!
