Jacob Morrell is a 13 years old actor who started his career in 2nd grade. His first big job was travelling with the National Tour of Kinky Boots. Following that he played Douglas on the off-Broadway Show Shadowlands and performed at Madison Square Garden in NY.
This fall, he is slated to perform at Carnegie Hall for a Carly Simon tribute including artists such as Darlene Love, Cyndi Lauper and Indigo Girls.

My best memorable showbiz moment so far was performing in front of 21,000 people at Madison Square Garden. It was so much fun!
He almost had a tragic accident on stage.
A goof that I would have have liked to do over again was one incident when I was playing young Charlie on the Kinky Boots tour. I had to run up the stairs and run down. There is a space on the top of the platform. There is a chain but you could still fall through it. On my way up, I tripped and almost fell through. I am glad it didn’t happen, but it gave the audience a scare.
He wants fellow teens to relax with the whole popularity thing.
I think that the biggest negative pressure for teens these days is popularity. Teens are always worried about their status, and think that it determines who they are. I say, that doesn’t matter. Just be you and have fun!
He can act as both sexes.
Something people would be surprised to know about me is that in more then one show I have played a boy and a girl at the same time. From twins, to a boy that has a Y and X chromosome. That’s when I played Christine in XY.
He loves chicken nuggets.
CHICKEN NUGGETS ARE MY LIFE. I could not go a day without them. I love the restaurant Sticky’s in New York. The chicken is so good!
