There are very few artists that are making their mark from such a young age quite like Reese Warren. Young, fresh, and full of energy, this exciting new artist is currently bringing her moving melodies to the global stage. Her sound is profoundly authentic and dripped in realness as she fuses an innocent delivery with softly soothing songwriting. The fun-filled youngster is currently known as the voice of MC Swag on LOL House of Surprises. Watch her as Bella in the Christmas movie Ace and the Christmas Miracle just released in November 2021. You may see her in commercials for Spin Master, Simon Malls or Justice clothing and she was one of the billboard announcers for the 2021 Little League World Series. Her schedule is busier than most tweens her age and she handles it with grace and professionalism.

Hello Reese, great to chat with you! For those unfamiliar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself and your background outside of the world of showbiz.
Hi! I think of myself as just a regular 12 year old kid that happens to work in the industry and do music. I like to ride bikes, watch shows with mom, hang out with my friends and family and play video games. I go to school, I have a cat and I have a big family. I am the youngest of 6 and my closest sibling is 8 years older than me. We are all very close. I am thankful to have such a supportive family.
I like to travel and I am blessed to be able to do that pretty often. I started pageants when I was 3 after I saw an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras and I told my mom that I wanted to do that. Since then I have been training to be a performer. I started cheer at 4 years old, dance at 5 years old and vocal training and acting at 6 years old. I absolutely love what I do and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
How did becoming a tap dancing champion at age 9 affect your life, good and bad?
Becoming a tap dancing champion at the age of 9 affected my life in a great way. I was so proud of myself seeing my hard work pay off. I was introduced to many people in the industry because I was a dancer.
What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about tap?
I think the biggest misconception INDUSTRY people have about tap is that it is outdated and not marketable. Tap dance is a highly skilled form of dance and many times is more entertaining than lyrical or hip hop.
What makes being on LOL House of Surprises special?
Being on LOL House of Surprises is special in a lot of ways to me. I AM A DOLL for one, which is the COOLEST thing EVER. Playing the part of MC Swag is a dream come true. It is my first recurring role and it happens to be with a highly successful brand. I love voice over acting and being able to play MC Swag is so awesome!
What do you like best about being a young showbiz reporter?
I had JUST turned 10 years old when The Artist Project brought me on to work with Ryker Baloun as a co-host and not long after FTS Kids News brought me on to work as a kid reporter for them. The experience is so rewarding. I have met some amazing people and love being able to get to know them.
We hear you have some new music planned—what can you tell us about the project?
I DO! I work with the amazing Shaun Royer and Katie Tua. The experience between the two of them is like magic. They have a solid plan in place in regards to my music. Being that I am 12 years old and my voice was changing, we held off on releasing anything after my first single until a little later this year. I am SO EXCITED to get back into the studio. I have been writing and training hard so that when I do release my next single, it will be well received.
What has been your most memorable moment in show biz so far?
My MOST memorable moment in show biz so far is working with Disney. Having a custom episode built around me was the MOST amazing thing. I can’t say anything more about it yet, but you will see soon enough.
How do you handle rejection after an audition?
I don’t even think about my auditions anymore. I do so many of them and you really just move on to the next. When the process gets to call backs and producers sessions, and you know you are one of a small handful of kids left that they are choosing for a part and you don’t get it, that stings a little. I have had a couple times when it took me a little longer to get over it, but that is normal. You just have to move on. It’s not really a big deal. More auditions come and bookings too!
Biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when people chew their food too loud.
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?
My favorite vacation spot is Nashville, TN. I love it there and my favorite hotel is the Gaylord Opryland. I could live there!
Favorite influencer/TikToker/Youtuber?
My favorite TikToker at the moment is Cory X Kenshin
Secret fear?
My secret fear is being left all alone or no one knowing who I am.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.
I want to learn several languages and I want to travel to every place in the world
The one thing I cannot live without is__________.
THE LORD
Tell me ONE food you REFUSE to eat and why?
I don’t really have one yet. I like to try new foods and want to develop my palate, but probably liver.
What else are you working on or have coming up next?
I have a project with Disney coming out in February. I have new music coming out in the next few months. I have new episodes of LOL House of Surprises coming out in the next few weeks!
