In pursuit of her dreams, teen singer-songwriter Evanthia Theodorou moved to Nashville over a year ago to pursue her music career. She keeps a daily journal and imbues her song lyrics and performances with personal experience, tapping into the emotions that have brought her this far. Her unique style and spirit infuse every song she writes and performs, making her music more relatable and authentic.
This St. Louis, Missouri native’s music has been recognized by CMA award-winning, Grammy award-winning, and multi-platinum music industry professionals. Among those who have praised her songwriting abilities is Grammy award-winning producer Tony Brown, who said, “Evanthia is that one artist/writer who can stand amongst today’s elitists group of aspiring deep songwriters with songs that were so well-crafted, however, reached the level of not only prolific but very commercial, hit-sounding, yet oozing with integrity!”
Today she releases her first country single “The Deep End,” a beautiful country-pop ballad about hopelessly falling in love. Writing and recording The Deep End was a great learning experience.
THE DEEP END will always be special to me as it’s my first country single. Writing the song was so natural but fun. Recording it and going through production was so much fun as well and I learned so much about who I am as an artist and what I want my listeners to hear.
Her journaling inspires her craft — but she keeps how many songs she has actually written close to the vest!
Most of my songs are inspired by my journaling. I have always been one to write my feelings down or even things that I have been through. Oh I would love to give you that answer of how many songs I have but I can’t share all my secrets 🙂

She loves the creative vibe of Nashville.
Nashville and St. Louis have some similarities. But I think for me it was just meeting so many creative people. I can go to restaurants and stores and meet new people that have a love for music here. It helps when Nashville has some of the nicest people I have ever met.
And she especially stans the live music scene!
Nashville has so many restaurants or venues where you can listen to live music. I love the authenticity of live music. I love it here.
She can probably knock you out.
I have a love for martial arts. I started training in Krav Maga 2 years ago and boxing as well. Staying healthy is important to me and crucial when you are an artist.
