Chloe Lang is an 18 yr old actress and singer who just finished freshman year at Pace University. She is best known for her iconic role as Stephanie on the kids show LazyTown.
She just dropped a new single and just released a new film available On Demand on June 3rd. Read on for our interview to find out all the details!
Hello Chloe, nice to e-meet you! Before we talk about your work as an entertainer, tell us a little bit about yourself outside of showbiz.
Nice to meet you as well! When I am not auditioning or working on set, I spend most of my time in school or with friends and family. I also love to travel and make art!
Great! You are best known for playing Stephanie on LazyTown. What’s was the biggest adjustment you had to make after you finished your two-season stint?
After filming the two seasons of LazyTown and living in Iceland, the biggest adjustment was moving back to my hometown and transferring back to public school. Although it took some time to get used to life off set, I ended up adjusting really well.
Which was your favorite puppet on the show?
On a personal level I loved all the puppeteers the same! They all brought so much laughter on set while filming. If I had to pick my favorite puppet character in the show I would have to say Ziggy- for his energetic and fun spirit!
What is the strangest Icelandic “thing” (such as food or local custom) you experienced while living there?
I’d say the strangest thing for me was the food! At the time I was such a picky eater and I especially did not like seafood. The chefs on set always had to make something plain so I could eat.
You’ve got a movie just released on demand called The Fifth Borough. Tell us about it and your character.
In The Fifth Borough, I play a teen girl diagnosed with cancer while struggling with an addiction. It is a deep role and I am so happy Steve Stanulis chose me to play her. I had so much fun on set and met tons of cool people.
Why do you think people are going to want to watch it?
I think people will want to watch the film because of the cast ensemble including Vincent Young, Sean Young, Joey Russo,, Constantine Maroulis, Tara Reid and more! I think the strong and intriguing story line will draw people in.
Tell us about your new music release and how it came about?
My new song that just dropped at the end of April is called “Is It Love”. It was a collaboration with Bond Villain, Olivia De Fusco and JC at Raw Recording Studios and I. The lyrics were inspired from toxic relationship experiences and how difficult they can be. It is available to be streamed on all platforms.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you?
I think one thing people would be surprised to know about me is that II went to a Visual Arts High School for all 4 years where I learned photography, painting, drawing, sculpting and video art. Art is a big part of who I am and what I love and I think not a lot of people know that!
Biggest pet peeve?
One of my biggest pet peeves is when my sister borrows my clothes and doesn’t give them back!
Most embarrassing moment?
My most embarrassing moment was in high school when I was dancing my solo at a competition. After I did an aerial and went into my next move I hit my face on the floor and broke my nose! I continued the rest of my dance with tears running down my face and a swollen nose. The best part was this was videotaped and is on my YouTube channel at Chloe5lang.
Tell me something you absolutely REFUSE to eat and why?
As I mentioned before I used to hate seafood…and unfortunately I still do. I refuse to eat any type of seafood- shrimp , lobster, fish, sushi..anything! My family and friends always try to convince me to try it.
What is your overall showbiz or career goal, and do you plan to go to college (and what will you study if “yes”)?
I just finished my first year at college and will be starting sophomore year in the fall. I am studying Arts and Entertainment Management. As far as my future career goals go, I aspire to own my own talent agency and still act as well.
What else are you working on or have coming up next?
As of right now, I am currently working on my acting skills — classes. as well as auditioning. I am also working on building my social media platforms as well. As soon as the world is ‘safe” again I will be excited to get back to work in person and start traveling again too!
Could we get a selfie of whatever you are doing at the moment? It’s something we ask to keep it real for the fans!
